“You Don’t See The Stars, Do You?”

I just published the first story suggestive content for my Gravity Falls fan project, “i, the gold.” Though I think everyone will argue with me that it tells absolutely nothing about what is happening. Hehehehe… SORRY! I like leaving people with more questions than answers...

This video has been in the works since AXOLOTL came out, as it was supposed to almost immediately follow its release, though it was UM. A much larger project than I initially anticipated… SO instead of working on it over the course of 7 months, I decided to procrastinate like hell and then finish this ENTIRE THING within a month.

200 hours of work, I averaged about 5 hours every day for 39 days straight and then pulled an all-nighter to get this published by the time the website’s countdown reached 0. I don’t know what I keep doing this to myself.

Following the upload of this video, I also made a huge update to the i,tg website! I urge you to check it out if you haven’t — the video is meant to go hand-in-hand with the website update, so there’s plenty of fun things to discover! Have fun!!

THE NEXT RELEASE — GRAVITY.

WHICH IS HAPPENING WAY SOONER THAN I’M READY TO ADMIT. Seriously. I’ve set an extremely strict deadline for myself so I have A LOT to do HEEELP!!!!!

I’m so excited for this song, though I’m doing something REALLY outside of my comfort zone, something I’ve never done before as a musician or a content creator. This is also something I haven’t officially announced anywhere so y’all are really getting some exclusive information.

THE RELEASE IS GOING TO HAVE A “PROPER” MUSIC VIDEO. A REAL ONE. FILMING. IN REAL LIFE.

Me and a couple friends are going on a trip to film THIS ENTIRE THING within a week. It’s going to be extremely chaotic probably, we’re all likely going to go insane and kill each other. Or maybe it will be really fun and relaxing. Either way, I’ll be vlogging as much as I can so I can do a little “making of” video following the second song’s release!

As much as I am so unbelievably excited for this drop, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t stressing LIKE HELL. Not to mention this is all entirely independent and self-funded. I opened a second credit card for the trip alone LMFAO, + I took a week off of work so I am potentially losing a lot of money doing this, but I am entirely willing to for this video and song.

This will likely be the most ambitious music video in i, the gold (unless I decide otherwise???), so I’m really feeling the pressure. Completely self-inflicted. But apparently I work best under pressure so let’s just hope I don’t absolutely bomb this entire song. SEND ME YOUR BEST WISHES! I think I’ll need them .

WHAT’S NEXT!

Besides the upcoming release of GRAVITY, I’m hoping to start a Discord server for i, the gold! Lots of people have been asking for one so I’m planning to get one up before the release — I’ll be sure to post about it on YouTube/Twitter/etc. once it’s up and running!

Lots of fun other little plans following the release, but most of all I’m absolutely going to take a break. Which, knowing me, will max be a week LMFAO. I’m also in a lot of other Gravity Falls fan projects which I’m hoping to devote more time to after this huge project is finished up! Shout-out to Tale of Two Stans Reanimated, Sock Opera Reanimated, and Bill Cipher Dating simulator: Pyramid of Love, my beloved. My beloveds.

I’m also trying really hard to make it to Anime Expo but there is a 90% chance that is not happening. HOPES ARE VERY HIGH THOUGH!
